INDECENT - Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Paula Vogel's newest work, one of the most acclaimed plays of 2016 when it debuted in New York Off-Broadway at the Vineyard Theatre - will premiere on Broadway at the Cort Theatre (138 W 48th St New York, NY), this spring, with previews set to begin early April prior to opening April 18, it has been announced by producers Daryl Roth, Elizabeth Ireland McCann and Cody Lassen, who will present the Vineyard Theatre production in association with La Jolla Playhouse and Yale Repertory Theatre. Artistic Directors Doug Aibel and Sarah Stern announce Kate Tarker as the ninth recipient of Vineyard Theatre's Paula Vogel Playwriting Award named in honor of playwright and teacher Paula Vogel, whose plays INDECENT, HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE (Pulitzer Prize for Drama) and THE LONG CHRISTMAS RIDE HOME premiered at The Vineyard.

Michele Selene Ang, Enid Graham, Lizbeth Mackay, Crystal Lucas-Perry, and Ruibo Qian will comprise the cast of the LCT3/Lincoln Center Theater production of BULL IN A CHINA SHOP, a new play by Bryna Turner, to be directed by Lee Sunday Evans.  BULL IN A CHINA SHOP  will begin performancesSaturday evening, February 11, open on Wednesday, March 1, and run for six weeks only through Sunday, March 26 at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street).

This summer, Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of Andre Bishop) will produce PIPELINE, a new play by Dominique Morisseau.  PIPELINE, which will be directed by Lileana Blain-Cruz, will begin performances Thursday, June 15 and open on Monday, July 10 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (150 West 65 Street).

New Yiddish Rep's revival of the controversial classic 'God of Vengeance' just hosted a talk-back, allowing audiences to delve deeply into aspects of this groundbreaking play by Sholem Asch. Just last night Rebecca Taichman (the director and co-creator of the Broadway-bound play 'Indecent,' which is based on the history of the play, and Gene Steinberg), headed to LaMaMa for the discussion and she was joined by some of her Indecent cast.
