Broadway's smash hit Motown the Musical just marked the production's 500th performance on Broadway last night, June 26 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. MOTOWN THE MUSICAL, featuring music and lyrics from the legendary Motown catalogue and a book by Berry Gordy, opened on Broadway on April 14th, 2013 at The Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46th Street). Through the poetry of one of the 20th century's most influential and culturally prominent voices, we are given a window into realities of the streets still relevant today.

The National Alliance for Musical Theatre (NAMT) announced additional casting and creatives for the 25th Annual Festival of New Musicals on Thursday, October 17 and Friday, October 18 at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street).
BroadwayWorld has confirmed that Felicia Boswell has stepped into the role of 'Diana Ross' in Broadway's MOTOWN, while Tony nominee Valisia LeKae is on vacation. Boswell first began performances earlier this week on August 13, and will remain through September 23 when LeKae returns to the Lunt-Fontanne.
