'Old Flame,' a new play by Richard Ploetz, weighs the force of an old romance against the strength of a 50-year marriage, examining our vulnerability to rediscovered passion, no matter what our age. Theater for the New City will present the piece April 24 to May 17, directed by James Glossman.

New Adventures are delighted to announce that international ballet superstar, Marcelo Gomes will guest star as 'Luca', the title role in the internationally acclaimed and multi-award winning dance thriller "THE CAR MAN" during the four week summer season at Sadler's Wells from 14 July to 9 August 2015. He will alternate the role with the previously announced Jonathan Ollivier and Chris Trenfield; all three dancers worked together last year, sharing the role of 'The Swan' when Marcelo Gomes made his debut with New Adventures in the Tokyo Season of Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake. Murder! Duplicity! Revenge! It all happens at the Don & Ann Brown Theatre tonight, February 24, when Palm Beach Dramaworks presents a recreation of the Lux Radio Theatre's 1950 broadcast of James M. Cain's Double Indemnity. Proceeds from this one-night only event, which includes a dessert reception following the 7:30 performance, benefit PBD's Theatre Guild. 1940s attire optional!

Stolen Chair presents KILL ME LIKE YOU MEAN IT, a film noir for the stage, written by Kiran Rikhye and directed by Jon Stancato with a score composed by Sean Cronin. Previews run tonight, February 5, through the 8th and February 12-15, with a press opening slated for February 16, 2015.

The tour opens at the Churchill Theatre, Bromley on 16 April 2015, ending with a four week summer season at Sadler's Wells from 14 July to 9 August 2015. Among the heavy hitters in the history of American crime fiction, the late Elmore Leonard was something of a 'tweener': not quite as purely entertaining as Donald Westlake, not as morally serious as Patricia Highsmith or Ross MacDonald, not as stylistically interesting as Raymond Chandler or as close to the no-nonsense bone as James M.
