An Evening with Bill T. Jones: Insights on Directing, Choreography and Life is being held tonight at Northeastern University, at 8pm

American pianist Joel Fan joins Ravinia Festival's 2011-2012 Rising Stars series with a concert on Saturday, Nov. 19. Fan has embraced traditional literature as well as an eclectic range of repertoire, including new music commissioned especially for him, world music and his own transcriptions.

The North Carolina Symphony announced today that celebrated pianist Andrew von Oeyen will join the orchestra for concerts in Raleigh and Chapel Hill, Sept. 30-Oct. 2. He replaces Pascal Rogé, who said in a statement that he 'sincerely regrets that due to unexpected and unforeseen health matters he must cancel his appearances with the North Carolina Symphony this week.'

Completing the cast are Jessica DiGiovanni (Off-Broadway Debut) and Colby Minifie (The Pillowman, Landscape of the Body) as well as already announced Tony Award and four-time Emmy Award winner David Hyde Pierce ('Frasier', Curtains) and Obie Award winner Michael Chernus (The Aliens, In The Wake).

Producers Paula Herold and Alan Wasser announced today that the complete cast from the acclaimed off-Broadway production of Lysistrata Jones will transfer with the musical when it opens on Broadway this fall. Beginning previews November 12, 2011, Lysistrata Jones will officially open on December 14, 2011 at Broadway's Walter Kerr Theatre.
