New York's QUAD Cinema has announced the New York Theatrical run of ONE NIGHT STAND (74 minutes), Elisabeth Sperling's and Trish Dalton's absorbing, adrenaline-pumping debut documentary, fresh off of its one-night-only screenings in 456 theaters across the country through Fathom Events.
Callan Bergmann Returns to SILENCE! THE MUSICAL, 4/13

Beginning this Saturday, April 13th, original cast member Callan Bergmann will return to the cast of Off-Broadway's smash hit SILENCE! The Musical as Dream Hannibal. Following the announcement that SILENCE! would be ending its long run at the end of 2012, ticket sales unexpectedly soared, shattering all previous box office records held by the show. Subsequently, the producers determined that the production would reopen on January 19th. After opening initially at Theatre 80 on July 9, 2011 to unanimous rave reviews, SILENCE! was extended numerous times by popular demand and transferred theatres twice, ultimately landing at the new Elektra Theatre in Times Square which was constructed especially for the show.

THE 24 HOUR PLAYS: THE NATIONALS Set for 8/7-10

The 24 Hour Company, which produces The 24 Hour Plays on Broadway, The 24 Hour Musicals, and 24 Hour Play festivals around the world, is working with longtime collaborator The New School for Drama to bring The 24 Hour Plays: The Nationals to New York City from August 7 through 10, 2013. Six writers, six directors, six producers, and 24 actors will be chosen for the project. After two days of intensive workshops, the assembled team will produce their own 24 Hour Plays at a theater in Manhattan. The program is open to high school students, college students and recent college graduates aged 16 to 24. Submissions are due on May 1.
'It's a great opportunity for young artists to meet their peers and begin building the relationships that will serve them throughout their careers,' says 24 Hour Plays founding producer Tina Fallon. 'We are seeking the very best of the next generation of theater artists - and we will arm them with what they need to find their way in this business. Which is to say: each other.'

Our Time - a non-profit organization that has been helping children who stutter for over a decade - will hold its 11th Annual Benefit Gala, Worth the Wait, celebrating the bravery and achievements of young people who stutter as well as those who inspire their success. This event comes just one year after the organization honored Offensive Lineman Matt Slauson of the New York Jets, and two years after honoring David Seidler, the Academy Award-winning writer of The King's Speech, whose film changed the landscape for people who stutter around the world. The event has become an annual favorite for a number of celebrities, philanthropists, artists, and social advocates including former NEA Chair and award-winning actress Jane Alexander who has said: 'The word has gotten out that this is the best show in town. I go to a lot of galas, but this is the one I always want to go to, bar none.'
