Village Theatre has announced its 2010-2011 Mainstage Season, comprised of five with five diverse stories. Last season, the Village Theatre achieved an all-time high 18,000 subscribers, and hope to build on that number with a season including two Broadway musicals as well as two world premieres.
PINKALICIOUS, THE MUSICAL will continue Saturdays and Sundays through December 5th at 1pm at The Theatre at Saint Peter's (home of the York Theatre Company). The show is appropriate for children ages 2 to 10. Tickets are $29.50 for regular seats or $49.50 for premium seats and can be purchased by visiting www.pinkaliciousthemusical.com or by calling (212) 579-0528. Winner of the 2008 Larry Corse Playwriting Prize and a finalist for the James Sunwall Prize for Comedy, Skin Deep is a revealing new comedy. When George and Liz, a couple from Ohio, inherit a clothing-optional resort in Key West, they discover parts of themselves never before exposed.

Winner of three 2010 Planet Connections Theatre Festivity Awards, Maieutic Theatre Works (MTWorks) has announced their 2010-2011 Season beginning September 16th, 2010. The season will feature two world premieres, A Home Across The Ocean by Louisiana native and LGBTQ journalist Cody Daigle (Providence, Life/Play), and The Family Shakespeare by Georgia native and MTWorks' Artistic Director, David Stallings (Barrier Island, Anaïs Nin Goes To Hell). Directors Dev Bondarin (Gallery Players, Prospect Theatre Company) and Nicole A. Watson (Urban Stages, 52nd Street Project) are slated to direct.

In a comic satire of musical theatre genres, one story becomes five musicals, each in the distinctive style of a different master of the form, from Rodgers and Hammerstein to Stephen Sondheim. The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!) starts on May 4th, opens May 6th and continues through June 27th in the Walnut's Independence Studio on 3.
