A group of theatre producers have joined forces to launch The Theatre Leadership Project, an ambitious nonprofit aimed at providing resources to programs that seek to diversify commercial theatre leadership.

Trafalgar Theatre Productions, the producing arm of Trafalgar Entertainment, has today announced the appointment of Serena Hill who has joined the company in the new role of Casting Director.

Almost 48 years of Canadian music history were soaked and muddied after a pipe burst in the Vancouver Chamber Choir's production office early Friday morning, June 28. Owned by the City of Vancouver, Hodson Manor is the heritage house that the Choir has called home since the 1980s.

It is very difficult to tag Johan Osuldsen under one banner. He started out as a dancer and performer, spanning over several decades. Later he became known as a choreographer and director and subsequently directed for television. He is also a composer as well as translator of several musicals (including Stephen Sondheim's 'Company', 'Into the Woods' and Jason Robert Brown's 'The Last Five Years).

Bird College - Dance, Music and Theatre Performance today announces the appointment of Stephen Mear as President after an official opening of the new college campus took place yesterday. Mear will be an advocate for Bird College and for the wider dance and musical theatre sector promoting the work of the college as will Gary Avis MBE who was recently announced as a new patron. Both will work alongside existing patrons Christopher Biggins, Baroness Tessa Blackstone, Lara Pulver, Liz Robertson and Dougie Squires OBE.

NETworks Presentations, LLC, Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures and Unique Features, bring the Broadway musical ELF to the Saenger Theatre in New Orleans. Tickets will go on sale Friday, Oct. 12 at 10 a.m. for the Dec. 18-23, 2018 engagement. Presented by the New Orleans Theatre Association, ELF, is part of the Hancock Whitney Broadway in New Orleans 2018-2019 season.

Hancock Whitney Broadway in New Orleans is pleased to announce that the New Orleans engagement of the hit Broadway musical ON YOUR FEET! - based on the life story of seven-time GRAMMY winning international superstar Gloria Estefan and her husband, 19-time GRAMMY winning producer-musician-entrepreneur Emilio Estefan - will go on sale Friday, Sept. 28 at 10 a.m.

With less than two weeks until opening night, organizers of the fourth annual GI Film Festival San Diego (Sept. 25-30, 2018) announce the titles nominated for this year's awards program. In addition to local films and filmmakers receiving honors, festival organizers will recognize national and international films and filmmakers, as GI Film Festival San Diego is the home base for the national GI Film Festival in 2018. Today, New Orleans Theatre Association and Broadway in New Orleans announced a new three-year agreement with Hancock Whitney beginning with the 2018-2019 season. The partnership furthers Hancock Whitney's long-standing investment in New Orleanians' cultural experience by continuing to bring the best Broadway performances to the Crescent City.

Award-winning producer Gabrielle Whyte Hart brings her talent to the U.S. as she launches the North American arm of her production company, Fearless Productions.  Hailing from the UK, her psychological thriller BECOMINGstarring TOBY KEBBELL(DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES), PENELOPE MITCHELL (The Vampire Diaries) and JASON PATRIC(SLEEPERS) will be promoted this week in Cannes.

The multi-award winning dance theatre company, MARK BRUCE COMPANY, opened their brand new studio space on the Vallis Mills Trading Estate in Frome, Somerset, on Thursday December 7th. The studio, named BlackBirdRedRose Studios, was officially opened by the Mayor of Frome, Cllr Sheila Gore.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, HOUSE OF CARDS producers have extended the series' hiatus another two weeks following the announcement that the upcoming season will be the show's last.

The Warner Stage Company will hold auditions for a Nancy Marine Studio Theatre production of Ken Ludwig's THE GAME'S AFOOT (Or Holmes for the Holidays) on Monday, September 25th and Tuesday, September 26th at 7:00pm by appointment. 

Hawaii Integrated Productions and Memuneh Productions today announced that their latest project, JUVENTUD, will make its world premiere at Comic Con next week in San Diego on July 21, 2017.
