Pittsburgh CLO has announced the creative team for the 2017 Summer Season at the Benedum Center. 

Ghostlight Records releases the album of the hit musical A BRONX TALE in digital formats today, Friday, March 24 with CDs in stores and online Friday, May 12. CDs will be available at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street), where the show is currently running, beginning mid-April. The National High School Musical Theatre Awards (NHSMTA)/Jimmy Awards has announced the inaugural Inspiring Teacher Award, presented by Wells Fargo to Brendan Jennings, John Burroughs High School, Burbank, CA, and Larry Robinson, Central Academy of Technology and Arts, Monroe, NC for the encouragement and inspiration that led their students to win the 2016 coveted Jimmy Award for Best Performance by an Actress and Best Performance by an Actor.

On Monday, March 27, 2017 at 5 p.m., Open Doors Productions & Theatricals will present an industry reading of 13 Alabama Ghosts and Jeffrey, the Musical - a ghostly original Off-Broadway-bound musical that was originally built to be like the blockbuster musicals harking back to the days of Zeigfeld - with book by Alabama playwright and actor Don Everett Garrett and music by Kevin Francis Finn.

The Tooting Arts Club production of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street welcomes the stars of the original London incarnation of the production, Jeremy Secomb (as Sweeney Todd), Siobhan McCarthy (as Mrs. Lovett), Duncan Smith (as Judge Turpin) and Joseph Taylor (as Tobias), reprising their performances for New York audiences.

La Jolla Playhouse announced today the principal leads for Escape to Margaritaville, the new musical featuring the songs of legendary singer-songwriter-author Jimmy Buffett. Paul Alexander Nolan will lead the cast as Tully, and will be joined by Alison Luff as Rachel and Lisa Howard as Tammy.

The North American tour of AN AMERICAN IN PARIS, winner of four Tony Awards®, welcomes McGee Maddox in the role of Jerry Mulligan this April. Maddox, a former Principal Dancer with The National Ballet of Canada, replaces Garen Scribner who will play his final performance on Sunday, April 16 in Las Vegas.

Disney Theatrical Productions and Broadway In Chicago have announced full casting for the eagerly-anticipated North American tour of Disney's Aladdin, which begins rehearsals in Chicago on Monday, February 27.

David Mirvish will present the national tour of Sam Mendes (Spectre, American Beauty) and Rob Marshall's (Into the Woods and Chicago, the films) Tony Award-winning production of CABARET. CABARET will play a strictly one-week engagement, February 14 - 19 at the Princess of Wales Theatre.

A spectacular new production of Disney's The Little Mermaid kicks off at The Broward Center for the Performing Arts on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 for a limited two week run. Featuring the critically acclaimed work of Director Glenn Casale, this beloved tale of a young mermaid's coming-of-age adventure is told like never before. Previously announced casting includes Diana Huey as Ariel and Matthew Kacergis as Prince Eric, with Broadway's Jennifer Allen as Ursula and Steven Blanchard as King Triton. Melvin Abston, Connor Russell and Jamie Torcellini join the cast as Sebastian, Flounder and Scuttle. 

With the holiday season rapidly approaching, the Orpheum Theatre is offering the perfect gift for every Broadway fan. Beginning Today, November 18th patrons can select three or more of the remaining seven shows in the 2016-2017 Broadway Season to form a season ticket package.
