Vermont's award-winning Weston Playhouse Theatre Company announces a blockbuster line-up for its 2018 season. Founding Directors Malcolm Ewen, Tim Fort, and Steve Stettler continue Weston's tradition of celebrating the classics and nurturing the new in their 31st and final season at the helm of the esteemed company. The season includes three productions on the company's Main Stage at the historic Weston Playhouse and four productions at its new flexible Second Stage, Weston Playhouse at Walker Farm.

Continuing its multi-year commitment to American Masters, classic American dramas in fresh productions by nationally known artists, the Weston Playhouse Theatre Company will present Eugene O'Neill's Long day's Journey into night.  The Pulitzer Prize winning drama, considered O'Neill's greatest work and one of the finest American plays of the twentieth century, begins a limited run on August 24.

Beginning August 25, Weston Playhouse Theatre Company presents the pivotal play of Arthur Miller's career and the second production of its five-year American Masters series, an initiative dedicated to bringing classics of American drama to Weston's stage with artists of national stature.

In anticipation of its 80th performance season, Weston Playhouse Theatre Company plans to launch 'Weston 101' in February 2016. This groundbreaking educational program will bring the excitement of the summer productions into the off-season with a series of Thursday evening classes held at Burr and Burton Academy's Manchester VT campus AND broadcast via live-stream to participants' laptops and home computers.

This special one-night-only event will be held at The Times Center today, May 16 with an 8pm concert performance featuring Broadway and Prospect stars. The evening's program includes a diverse array of songs written or co-written by women, including encores of work from Prospect productions. Proceeds from the evening will benefit Prospect's ongoing mission to develop and produce new musical theater works by emerging artists.

Scott Fitzgerald's coming of age as a writer on the eve of World War I, and his first romance with the elusive debutante Ginevra King. Performances ran through November 30 at The Duke on 42nd Street, located at 229 W. 42nd Street, NYC.

The Immediate Family presents Henrik Ibsen's PEER GYNT, adapted by Scott Raker, from the English translation by William and Charles Archer, directed by Haas Regen. PEER GYNT features original music written and performed by Mackenzie Shivers, inspired by Edvard Grieg's score. PEER GYNT will be performed Friday, December 5th through Saturday, December 20th, at the Alchemical Theatre Laboratory (104 W 14th Street, NYC).
