Upcoming Theatre Communication Group Member Shows - 9/12 for St. Paul

The Albuquerque Theatre Guild has announced its September 2010 Performance Calendar. More theatrical performances take place every weekend here in Albuquerque than in any other U.S. city of its size.

New Repertory Theatre, in residence at the Arsenal Center for the Arts, is thrilled to begin its 2010-2011 Season with David Mamet's clever, biting comedy Boston Marriage. Boston Marriage opens for the press on Monday, September 13, 2010 at 7:30pm and plays through Sunday, October 3, 2010 at the Arsenal Center for the Arts in the Charles Mosesian Theater.

The 50 Songs 50 States tour is halfway completed! Netherfriends make their way over to the West Coast, up to Alaska and POP Montreal and continue to record and play in every state in the US!

Miners Alley Playhouse presents: 'ART' by Yasmina Reza

The Museum of Modern Art presents Picasso: Themes and Variations, an exhibition exploring Pablo Picasso's creative process through the medium of printmaking, from March 28 to September 6, 2010. It features approximately 100 works from the Museum's superlative collection of the artist's prints. The exhibition is organized by Deborah Wye, The Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Chief Curator of Prints and Illustrated Books, The Museum of Modern Art.

Performance Network Theatre announces its production of the larger-than-life comedy, 'Woman Before a Glass' by Lanie Robertson. Performances will begin August 5 and run through September 5, 2010. This one woman show stars actress Naz Edwards as the eccentric heiress and avid art lover, Peggy Guggenheim. It is directed by Malcolm Tulip ('Amadeus,' 'The Seafarer').

A monthly nonfiction reading series that brings together up-and-coming and established writers to share their work with the rest of the world. Freerange practices the method of literary husbandry where the authors are permitted to write, read, and roam freely instead of being constrained by traditional categories or labels of their genre. This principle is to allow the writers as much freedom as possible, to live out their instinctual behaviors in a reasonably natural way, regardless of whether or not they are eventually killed for meat.

Marin Theatre Company announces the West Coast premiere of Happy Now? by British playwright Lucinda Coxon. Happy Now? received rave reviews on both sides of the Atlantic in London and New York. Jasson Minadakis directs Happy Now? in the Boyer Theatre November 11 through December 5, 2010. Opening night is November 16.

OpenStage Theatre loves a good challenge. And the 2010-2011 Season offers just that. With the Fort Collins Lincoln Center closed for renovations, OpenStage Theatre will be performing in various locations throughout downtown Fort Collins. 'We're mixing it up for the 2010-2011 Season,' says OpenStage Producing Artistic Director Denise Burson Freestone. 'We're going back to OpenStage Theatre's roots in the early 70's when there was no Lincoln Center - or any performance venues outside of the university, for that matter.
