In A N O N Y M O U S, renowned artist Jaume Plensa presents works on paper and sculpture, using his signature multidisciplinary approach and interest in the collective experiences and memories across cultures and time. The exhibition at Galerie Lelong coincides with the presentation of Plensa's monumental sculpture Echo, opening May 5 at New York's Madison Square Park. In Echo and the works featured in A N O N Y M O U S, Plensa conveys notions of the individual and humanity as both distinctive and universal. A N O N Y M O U S opens at Galerie Lelong on Friday, May 6 from 6 to 8 pm, and the artist will be present.

Everybody's been talking about the animatronic pig which cost a reported £100,000 and we've now got the first photos from Cameron Mackintosh's new musical comedy BETTY BLUE EYES, based on the Handmade Film 'A PRIVATE FUNCTION' by Alan Bennett and Malcolm Mowbray. BETTY BLUE EYES is the first original musical Cameron Mackintosh has produced in ten years. It started previews at the Novello Theatre in the West End on 19 March and opens on 13 April.

The Jewish Museum will present a fun-filled, multi-generational family day celebrating the vibrant worlds of illustrator, author and designer Maira Kalman and artist Henri Matisse on Sunday, May 15 from 12 noon to 4 pm.

Executive Producer Lou Spisto today announced the complete cast and creative team for Tracy Letts' award-winning play, August: Osage County. Directed by Obie Award winner Sam Gold, the dark comedy will run in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center, May 7 - June 12. Preview performances run May 7 - May 11. Opening night is Thursday, May 12 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are currently available by subscription only. THE ACTIVE THEATER in association with BUD MARTIN will present Any Given Monday by Bruce Graham on Monday, April 4, 2011 at New World Stages, 2:00pm, in Stage 5. Bud Martin will direct the private reading of the play which was first seen in a co-production between ACT II PLAYHOUSE, Ambler, PA and THEATRE EXILE, Philadelphia, PA. Any Given Monday was the recipient of the 2010 Barrymore Award for Best New Play.
