Japan Society presents CONCERT FOR JAPAN, 12 hours of music and special activities to benefit Japan Society's Japan Earthquake Relief Fund.

Yellow Face, the nationally-acclaimed play by Tony Award winning playwright David Henry Hwang, makes its Chicago debut at Silk Road Theatre Project (SRTP), produced in association with the Goodman Theatre.

Recently honored by President Barack Obama with the National Medal of Arts, Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival 2011 will officially commence with a star-studded Season Opening Gala performance and celebration on June 18. Artist Elizabeth Peyton's Wagner, an exhibition of works based on the characters in Der Ring des Nibelungen, will open at the Metropolitan Opera on February 25. Wagner is the second in a series of exhibitions celebrating the Met's new production of the composer's Ring cycle. Peyton's work will be shown at the Arnold & Marie Schwartz Gallery Met and in other locations throughout the opera house; this will be the first time an artist's exhibition will not be limited to the gallery itself. The show will include nearly 30 works. A majority are new monotypes and drawings made for the exhibition.
