Sir Elton John's Melbourne Concert will be held tonight 18 November at Rod Laver Arena.

The RRazz Room, San Francisco's premier nightclub, presents the return of Grammy Award-winning jazz legend, Diane Schuur, nicknamed "Deedles," to celebrate the release of her recent album, THE GATHERING. The CD features special guests Alison Krauss, Vince Gill, Mark Knopfler, Larry Carlton and Kirk Whalum.

The Broadway premiere of Grace, the acclaimed dark comedy written by award-winning writer Craig Wright (Mistakes Were Made, Recent Tragic Events, "Six Feet Under") and directed by Dexter Bullard (Tracy Letts' BUG), begins performances on Thursday, September 13th, with an official opening night set for Thursday, October 4, 2012. Chugg Entertainment can today confirm that Sir Elton John's Melbourne Concert will be held on Sunday 18 November at Rod Laver Arena. Tickets for this show will go on sale on Friday 21 September at 9am.

Producers announced today that the box office at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street) is open for business in anticipation of its new tenant: the Broadway Premiere of Grace, the acclaimed dark comedy written by award-winning writer Craig Wright (Mistakes Were Made, Recent Tragic Events, "Six Feet Under") and directed by Dexter Bullard (Tracy Letts' BUG).

Misshapen Theatre has announced the return of their science fiction theatre night BLAST OFF tonight, 10th July at 7pm in the Soho Theatre. The latest episode of Blast Off brings together a brand new lineup of science-fiction plays by writers Gabriel Bisset-Smith, Joshua Conkel, Afsaneh Grey, Sara Pascoe, Simon Anderson as well as comedy from John Luke Roberts.

Voices in Unity share their musical diversity with selections ranging from Gospel to Broadway and Pop to Classical. The concert is put together by Music Director Britt Hall, who creates repertoire, dynamic medleys and selects guest artists to perform with the choir.

Playwright Jeffrey Sweet has constructed an entertaining and though-provoking work with THE VALUE OF NAMES. This brief (75 minutes) look at two men and the different paths their lives have taken since one named names during the Senator McCarthy red hunt trials of the 1950's. Filled with a surprisingly amount of humor, though mostly caustic and self-deprecating in tone, this is an interesting look at the fallout from that dark period in our country's history. The New Jewish Theatre has put together a marvelous, compact production that continues through April 1, 2012.

Federico Garcia Lorca's tragic play, BLOOD WEDDING, which Upstream Theater is currently presenting, is given a lyrical translation by Langston Hughes and a stunningly dark adaption by Melia Bensussen. From the opening moments until the final blackout, there's an intensity rarely found in theatrical productions, and only the coldest of souls will not be moved by the expected, but still deeply disturbing, ending. Superb work is culled from all the actors by Philip Boehm who has a real talent for delivering exceptionally atmospheric mood pieces such as this.
