New York City Ballet previously announced that 24-year-old corps de ballet member Justin Peck has been commissioned to create two new ballets for NYCB, his first-ever for the Company.

Ballet West has been awarded a Fellowship Initiative grant from the New York Choreographic Institute, an affiliate of New York City Ballet, to support the development of new choreography in a studio setting. The choreographer will be Christopher Ruud.

The evening will also include a major revival of George Balanchine's Symphony in C, which was created for the Paris Opera Ballet in 1947 to a score by the French composer Georges Bizet.
