FOX has ordered 13 episodes of the new drama series TOUCH, created and written by Emmy-nominated Tim Kring ('Heroes'), it was announced today by Kevin Reilly, President of Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company.

TOUCH, starring Emmy and Golden Globe winner Kiefer Sutherland, will join the schedule in the spring of 2012. The pilot was directed and executive-produced by Francis Lawrence ('Water for Elephants'), and the show comes from Chernin Entertainment and Tailwind Productions, in association with 20th Century Fox Television.

A&E Network will premiere the original scripted drama series, 'Breakout Kings' on Sunday, March 13 at 10:00pm ET/PT. Twentieth Century Fox Television will once again dominate the San Diego Comic-Con convention, with stars and creators of eleven of its signature shows heading down to the world famous fan gathering next month. The stars and creators of Fox's shows, such as 'Glee' and 'Futurama,' will provide exclusive sneak peeks of its programs as well as have panel discussions.

The Hollywood Reporter reveals today that John Lithgow and Freida Pinto will join the previously announced James Franco in the Fox prequel to Planet of the Apes, Rise of the Apes, for the big screen. The film is being directed by Rupert Wyatt and centers on a scientist (Franco) who is using apes to test a cure for Alzheimer's Disease. Things go sour when the scientist brings the main subject, an ape named Caesar, home with him to keep him out of reach of other researchers who plan to harm him. In the film, Lithgow is set to portray Franco's father, stricken with Alzheimer's disease. Pinto will play a primatologist.
