The Dance COLEctive (TDC), under the direction of award-winning choreographer, performer and teacher Margi Cole, and Links Hall present 'Holding Ground,' a concert program with two premieres and a revival. Performances are October 31, November 1 and 2 at 7 p.m. at Links Hall at Constellation, 3111 N. Western Ave., Chicago.

The final program line-up is set for the annual Chicago Dancing Festival, taking place at venues across downtown Chicago today, August 20 through August 25. The Festival, co-produced by renowned choreographer/Chicago native Lar Lubovitch and esteemed Chicago dancer Jay Franke, enters its sixth season, expanded this year to six consecutive days of dance events that are all completely free.

Same Planet Different World Dance Theatre (SPDW), a Chicago-based modern dance ensemble, launches its 15th Anniversary with a spring mixed repertory program featuring two World Premieres by guest choreographer Peter Carpenter and SPDW Artistic Director Joanna Rosenthal, along with reprisals of work by Chicagoan Colleen Halloran and former Stephen Petronio Company dancer and rehearsal director, Ashleigh Leite.

'SHE SAID, SHE SAID' will be performed at the WorkShop Theater, 312 West 36th Street (between 8th and 9th Avenues), 4th floor Main Stage Theater. Previews begin Thursday, March 12, and the Official Opening Night will be Monday, March 16 at 7:00 p.m. Performances are scheduled to run through Saturday, April 4.
