Recently promoted by Good Morning America, The New York Times, New York Magazine, and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Chatroulette - the website that pairs random strangers for webcam-based conversations - has exploded on the internet and has gotten the attention of celebrities such as Nicole Richie, Perez Hilton and Joel McHale. Receiving an average of 500,000 viewers a day, Chatroulette allows visitors to video and text with another random visitor. At any point, either user may leave the current chat by initiating another random connection. The program was created by Andrey Ternovskiy, a 17-year-old high school student in Moscow.

Earlier last week it was announced that Simon Cowell would helm a charity single Live Aid-style with proceeds going to the relief efforts in Haiti.
International musicians are rallying to assist with the charity record, including Miley Cyrus, Mariah Carey, and Jon Bon Jovi (as announced by Perez Hilton yesteday), joining the previously announced Michael Buble, Rod Stewart and Leona Lewis. People Magazine reported that UK sensation Susan Boyle has also signed on to participate and is expected to record a version of REM's 'Everybody Hurts.'

Entertainment icon Donny Osmond will host a new lifestyle-driven music radio show targeting the advertiser-coveted female demographic for radio syndication network Citadel Media. The Donny Osmond Show was developed with broadcast industry consultant Mike McVay of McVay Media and will be the first offering from McVay Syndication. The program will air weekdays from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. and will launch nationally on January 18 with 60 stations. The Donny Osmond Show will provide an energetic, upbeat option for stations seeking a workday connection with their listeners and is designed for both adult contemporary and classic hits radio formats.

Broadway vet Paul Rudd will be teaming up with Zach Galifianakis yet again for the upcoming comedy 'Will,' which Perez Hilton summarizes as centering around 'Rudd whose life and destiny is being written by a scribe in Heaven played by Galifianakis. But one day the scribe stops writing and it's up to Rudd to go on about his day on his own.' Demetri Martin wrote the script and Little Miss Sunshine's Valerie Faris and Jonathan Dayton are directing.
