Rosemary Loar made her MetropolitanZoom debut last night to an impressive crowd from lands far and wide... and weren't they happy they tuned in.

“The Boy With No Name is a dense album,” Fran reflected. “Andy MacDonald, our A&R man fracked me hard, possibly a little too hard, for songs. As a result, there were many strong contenders for singles.

“‘Something Good’ is about that feeling you get when you just know it’s gonna be a good night,” explains Dixon. “It’s about going out and having a good time with your friends, something we’d all love to do more of these days.” 

“’The Battle at Garden’s Gate’ is about hope and overcoming the challenges that humanity faces,” says the band’s Sam Kiszka, “We live in a world powered by superficial institutions and this album is a reminder that it’s up to us to sing out of the silence.”

'Apocalyptic Love Song' follows up the release of the EP's singles 'The High Road' and 'You Feel New' which are available on all streaming services to add to your favorite playlists. 

Boasting a cinematic hybrid of orchestral music, rock, and EDM, featuring stunning compositions, heavy guitar riffs, and thundering drums, the album Symphony of Sinners and Saints will be released on May 21 by Studio Seven Media. 

WHAT DRIVES US is an homage to the moment in every musician’s life when their commitment is tested and their desire to play music for others becomes an almost irrational act of blind faith.

She Loves You will have its world premiere in March 2022 at the Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen, starring Danish singer and actress Maria Lucia (The Beauty and the Beast, The Sound of Music on stage and the Danish film dubbing of Disney's Frozen) leading a cast of 24 musical performers. This production with Danish dialogue and English-language songs, will transfer to the Musikhuset in Aarhus before launching a Scandinavian tour of Sweden, Norway and Iceland, with several worldwide productions still in the pipeline.

It will also be published in UK & Commonwealth (Simon & Schuster), Finland (Bazar), Germany (Ullstein), Holland (A.W. Bruna), and Italy (Rizzoli).

Many of us, including myself, have missed the theatre, the place where audiences are imbued with a jubilant escape, which unfortunately hasn't been able to happen for the past year, as the island of Oahu reaches its one-year mark of having officially being put on lockdown due to the Coronavirus. Though, with Oahu finally easing up on restrictions due to Covid, Diamond Head Theatre (DHT) was finally able to mount its first musical since The Sound of Music in 2019. And, while 2020 was definitely not one for the books, it was an utter delight to finally be able to book tickets for Shout! at DHT, where the staff has set and maintained strict social-distancing protocols, with a mask mandate, subsequently providing spectators with more peace of mind. One can only imagine how tricky it might be to stage a full 90-minute musical with actors on stage, lots of movement and choreography, and the potential risk of cross contamination due to the consistent mask-less singing. However, director-choreographer John Rampage and the cast of five talented ladies superbly pull it off!

'You Feel New' follows up the release of the EP's first single 'The High Road.' The song debuted at Rolling Stone and is available on now all streaming services to add to your favorite playlists. 

Five richly talented singers rock the stage in Arizona Broadway Theatre’s production of SHOUT! THE MOD MUSICAL, Phillip George and David Lowenstein’s 2004 tribute to the solid gold singles of the ‘60’s. Directed by Seth Tucker and featuring five fab singers, the show runs through April 18th.

The BBC today announced the cast for the global premiere of 'U.Me: The Musical' to be broadcast on 12 May 2021 at 8pm on BBC World Service. Stephen Fry will be the very special guest narrator along with two young lead actors Anoushka Lucas and Martin Sarreal and a wider cast including students from Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA). 

Opening acts include Cowboy Diplomacy and Torino Black. Tickets for table seating are available for purchase.

The awards honored six musicals from Broadway, Off-Broadway, and the West End with nominations for Best Musical Theatre Album - 'Jagged Little Pill,' 'American Utopia,' 'Little Shop of Horrors,' 'The Prince of Egypt,' 'Soft Power,' and Amélie.'
