Arthur Miller's seminal classic has been brought to the West End following its run its run in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Following the General Election, Peter Morgan has today (8 May 2015) updated his script for The Audience - a play about the weekly meeting between the Queen and her Prime Ministers - on the day HMQ invites David Cameron to form a new Government.  The updated scene between The Queen and David Cameron, played by Kristin Scott Thomas and Mark Dexter, will be performed for the first time at this evening's performance.

Kristin Scott Thomas plays the Queen in a new and updated version of Peter Morgan's The Audience. Stephen Daldry's production is now in previews at the Apollo Theatre, with press night tonight 5 May 2015 and booking to 25 July 2015. 

National Theatre Live has announced that Peter Morgan's The Audience, starring Academy Award winner Helen Mirren and directed by Stephen Daldry, will make a return to cinema screens around the world in select markets with encore screenings beginning Thursday, June 25. Carey Mulligan stopped by last night's TONIGHT SHOW to talk about cooking the classic dish, Spaghetti Bolognese from scratch on stage every night in her new Broadway play SKYLIGHT.

Just a reminder, Broadway's SKYLIGHT will take a week off of performances in April while cast members attend to prior commitments, the show's Telecharge listings confirm. The show will be dark from April 13-20.
