Patti Page is being celebrated October 12 9:30PM at Green Room 42 as part of Blake Allen's 'An Evening With...' series. Called 'an important vehicle for musical preservation' (BroadwayWorld), the series is committed to honoring and educating audiences about the music of America from the early-mid part of the 20th century by setting these celebrated works with notable contemporary voices and new arrangements.

Blake Allen, known for his innovative bridging of contemporary music and theater through composition, is committed to honoring and educating audiences about the music of America from the early-mid part of the 20th century through An Evening With… musical series. The Green Room 42 Presents: An Evening With... The Sherman Brothers, curated and orchestrated by Blake Allen is the third installment of this important series and will take place on July 20 at 9:30 p.m. inside the Times Square Yotel. By setting these celebrated works with notable contemporary voices through the "An Evening With…" series has become an important vehicle for musical preservation.

Signature Theatre is excited to announce the cast and creative team for the world premiere of 4,380 Nights by DC playwright Annalisa Dias. The production will be directed by Kathleen Akerley (Artistic Director of Longacre Lea) and will feature Ahmad Kamal (Woolly Mammoth's KISS) as Malik Essaid/El Hadj El Kaim, Michael John Casey (Shakespeare Theatre's Othello, Folger Theatre's Henry V) as Bud Abramson/Man, Rex Daugherty (Signature'sShakespeare's R&J) as Luke/Colonel Pelissier, and Lynette Rathnam (Ford Theatre's Death of a Salesman) as Woman (complete cast and creative team bios are below). 4,380 Nights will run from January 16 through February 18 in Signature Theatre's ARK Theatre. 4,380 Nights is Signature's submission to the 2018 Women's Voices Theater Festival.

The curtain goes up on a new season at Mercer County Community College's (MCCC's) Kelsey Theatre with "Memphis." Presented by PinnWorth Productions, this hit Broadway musical offers up a dramatized account of the roots of rock and roll and radio's role in embracing the new sounds that transformed the country. Dates and show times are: Fridays, Sept. 8 and 15 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, Sept. 9 and 16 at 8 p.m.; and Sundays, Sept. 10 and 17 at 2 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on the college's West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.
