The producers of Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage, one of the most successful musicals in West End history, are delighted to announce that they will be holding nationwide auditions to find outstanding performers to star in the first ever national tour of the production.
According to a report by Variety, Broadway veteran Whoopi Goldberg is looking to bring her 1983 San Francisco show, MOMS, to New York in an off Broadway production. The one-woman show was a tribute to comedianne Moms Mabley. Additionally, Goldberg plans to direct a documentary on the same subject, which she hope to complete by the end of the year.
