French Open Begins 5/25 on ESPN Networks

The second Major of the year - the French Open on the iconic red clay of Roland Garros in Paris - begins Sunday, May 25, on ESPN2 and ESPN3, the start of more than 50 hours on television and 330 via ESPN3's presentation of up to seven courts on the days ESPN2 is on the air. ESPN2 and ESPN3 will begin at 5 a.m. ET most days on weekdays through Thursday, June 5, culminating with the women's semifinals.

Des McAnuff & Michael David to be Honored at NYTW's 2014 Spring Gala, 5/12

New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) has announced that its 2014 Spring Gala will honor Tony Award-winning director Des McAnuff and President of The Dodgers Michael David. Both are founding partners of Dodger Properties, which is responsible for over 150 productions of some of the most successful theatre on Broadway (56 Tony Awards), Off-Broadway and internationally. The gala will take place on Monday, May 12 at The Grand Ballroom of The Plaza Hotel, beginning at 6:30pm.

Broadway's ORPHANS Cast Visits THE CHARLIE ROSE SHOW

It's been a busy week for Broadway's ORPHANS, Lyle Kessler's play starring Alec Baldwin, Ben Foster, and Tom Sturridge. The show opened on Broadway last night, and a starry audience including Dakota Fanning, Tina Fey, Jane Krakowski, Winona Ryder, Sienna Miller, Anna Chlumsky, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Richard Schiff, Anna Wintour, Debbie Harry, Melissa Errico and Patrick McEnroe, Bridget Moynahan and Michael Shannon. Tennis' BNP Paribas Showdown 2013 Airs Live from Madison Square Garden Today

ESPN3 and ESPN2 will present live the BNP PARIBAS SHOWDOWN 2013 from Madison Square Garden in New York today, March 4, with two star-studded matches: a US Open rematch between the world's top two ranked players, Serena Williams and Victoria Azarenka followed by Rafael Nadal - who recently returned to action after being sidelined since Wimbledon last summer - facing former US Open champion Juan Martin Del Potro.

Azarenka, Sharapova to Play Year-End WTA Championship on ESPN2, ESPN3

The coveted year-end top ranking in the WTA will be on the line when Victoria Azarenka, the current No. 1, and No. 2 Maria Sharapova lead the field of the top eight women's tennis players in the world in Istanbul, Turkey, for the round-robin TEB BNP Paribas WTA Championships on ESPN3 and ESPN2 beginning Tuesday, Oct. 23. ESPN3 will present 22 live hours from the Sinan Erdem Arena with coverage daily through the championship Sunday, Oct. 28. The final match will be aired on ESPN2 on a short delay at 2 p.m. ET with Patrick McEnroe and Jimmy Arias on the call.

With plenty of Broadway pals and other luminaries in the audience, Broadwayworld was there and brings you exclusive performance shots and backstage snaps, taken after the show. The concert was Directed by Richard Jay-Alexander and the Musical Director was John Oddo.
