Everything's up to date in Aurora, where nearly 27,000 subscribers (and still counting) have already signed up for the Paramount Theatre's 2015-16 four-show Broadway Musical Series. That's just one reason why Paramount's Broadway opener OKLAHOMA!, directed by Artistic Director Jim Corti, promises to be the musical everyone will be talking about this fall. Wower of Chicagoland audiences and critics alike since launching its own, self-produced Broadway series four years ago, the Paramount's fifth consecutive Broadway Series kicks off with the epic, much-loved debut collaboration between Rodgers and Hammerstein about turn of the century American pioneers. Artistic Director Daniel Evans today announces the company for his new production of Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammerstein II's musical Show Boat.

The Kentucky Symphony Orchestra and Music Director James R. Cassidy close the Symphony's 20th anniversary Summer Series in Devou Park, Saturday, September 5 at 7:30 p.m. with a free program dubbed "The Battle of Broadway: Sondheim vs. Webber." Composers Stephen Sondheim and Andrew Lloyd Webber (who coincidently have the same birthday - March 22) ruled the boards on Broadway and the West End for most of the 1970s-80s compiling hit song after hit song in a string of award winning musicals. Home-grown bonafide Broadway stars Pamela Myers and Jessica Hendy will be featured, singing the hit tunes of these living legends.

RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S CINDERELLA, the 2013 Tony Award-winning Broadway musical from the creators of South Pacific and The Sound of Music, will play at the Fox Theatre for a limited engagement from November 3-8 as part of the 2015/2016 Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta Series.

Bucks County Playhouse producers Robyn Goodman and Alexander Fraser just announced the 2nd Annual Oscar Hammerstein Festival -- named in honor of the master lyricist who wrote some of America's most beloved and recognizable musicals at his family farm in Bucks County.

At the top of her show, SEE JANE SING!, Jane Lynch jokes that she always wanted to be the kind of TV celebrity that held an audience hostage for an hour as she dabbled in the art of cabaret. Luckily for us, deft comedienne Lynch surprises the audience by being a fantastic singer, leaving the audience begging her for more encores.

Single tickets for the Fabulous Fox Theatre's 2015 - 2016 U.S. Bank Broadway Series shows will go on sale Saturday, September 12 at 10:00 a.m.
