Ordway Center for the Performing Arts is gearing up for its 11th Flint Hills International Children's Festival. Minnesota's signature arts festival for children and families features performing artists from all across the state, region and world. Festival dates are May 31-June 5, 2011. Nearly 500,000 people have enjoyed the Festival since it began in 2000.
The Tony Award- and Pulitzer Prize Award-winning rock musical "Next to Normal" is coming to the Ordway for a two-week run from May 10-22.

As previously announced, the production will begin performances September 15 at the Mahalia Jackson Theater for the Performing Arts in New Orleans and will continue on to over 30 additional major markets across North America.
