There are only five more performances to see Mia Farrow in her critically-acclaimed turn as Melissa Gardner in the smash hit production of A.R. Gurney's enduring romance about first loves and second chances, LOVE LETTERS. Stage and screen legend Carol Burnett will join two-time Tony Award winner Brian Dennehy in a strictly limited four week engagement on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street).

LOVE LETTERS Box Office Opens Today at Brooks Atkinson Theatre; Adds Two Performances!

The strictly limited engagement of Carol Burnett & Brian Dennehy in the Broadway production of LOVE LETTERS at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street) will be extended for two additional performances: Saturday, November 8 at 2pm and 8pm. LOVE LETTERS begins performance Saturday, September 13, at 8pm, and tickets are now on sale at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre box office for the first Broadway revival of A.R. Gurney's enduring romance about first loves and second chances.

Brooks Atkinson Box Office Opens Next Week for All-Star Revival of A.R. Gurney's LOVE LETTERS

The Brooks Atkinson Theatre box office (256 West 47th Street) will open on Monday, August 25 at 10am, for tickets to the first Broadway revival of A.R. Gurney's enduring romance about first loves and second chances, LOVE LETTERS. A limited number of tickets for the Thursday, September 18, opening Night performance at 7pm, will be available for purchase.

NAMT Announces 25th Annual Festival of New Musicals, 10/17-18

The National Alliance for Musical Theatre (NAMT) announced on June 28 the nine musicals selected to be part of the 25th Annual Festival of New Musicals on Thursday, October 17 and Friday, October 18 at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street).

Connecticut's premier outdoor Shakespeare will present As You Like It, tonight, June 13-30, 2013. The show is one of Shakespeare's most beloved and pastoral comedies. Claire Shannon Kelly, currently the Director of Youth Programming for Shakespeare on the Sound and the director of the company's touring educational program, 'Speaking Daggers,' will direct. Kelly previously worked at the Ordway Theater, the Guthrie Theater, the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey and the George Street Playhouse. She is a resident of New Canaan.

Christiane Noll, Hugh Panaro and More Team Up to Get LADY CHATTERLEY'S LOVER to the Stage

The writing team of a new Broadway-bound musical, inspired by the once shockingly explicit 1928 D.H. Lawrence masterpiece, Lady Chatterley's Lover, is turning to the Internet to fundraise for an industry reading to be held in New York City in late fall. With its notarity abroad and questionable content at the time of its conception, the music and content aims to bring a story to the stage that bridges the gap between so many of our personal and internal battles and unite us in a constant search for spiritual love and the drive that empowers us to find it.

After opening to great acclaim, Thea Sharrock's production of Neil Simon's The Sunshine Boys will complete its run at The Savoy Theatre on 28 July as previously announced. With a cast led by Danny DeVito and Richard Griffiths as the ageing vaudevillian team Willie Clark and Al Lewis, The Sunshine Boys began its limited West End run in April this year. New York Theatre Barn to Launch 6th Annual NYTB Concert Series, 7/9

New York Theatre Barn (Joe Barros, Artistic Director; Jason Najjoum, Producing Director; Barry Levine, Managing Director) will launch the 6th consecutive year of its acclaimed monthly platform for emerging musical theater writers, NYTB in the D-Lounge, on July 9, 2012 at the D-Lounge of the Daryl Roth Theatre. Featured writing teams will be Charlie Sohne and Tim Rosser, and Adam Spiegel and Dan Wolpow, all alumni of the Tony Award-winning BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop. Featured writers for later months in the 6th season will be announced at a later date.
