This autumn Coventry's Belgrade Theatre is producing four new shows, including The Prodigals: A Man Had Two Sons, Charlie Peace: His Amazing Life and Astounding Legend, its annual pantomime, which this year is Jack and the Beanstalk and its new B2 Xmas Show Oh No It Isn't! The theatre is also restaging its Coventry Blitz play One Night in November.
San Diego REPertory Theatre (San Diego REP) in partnership with the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA) will present "In the Heights" by Quiara Alegria Hudes as the first production of the company's 38th season. The panel will comprise Sandi Toksvig, Bully Boy's writer; Anthony Andrews, who plays Major Oscar Hadley in the production and Commodore Andrew Cameron, the Chief Executive of Veterans' mental health charity Combat Stress. Patrick Sandford, Bully Boy's director, will chair the event. The Q&A session is open to all audience members who have attended that evening's performance of Bully Boy.
