Gerard McCarthy will take on the lead role in Stalking the Bogeyman, the extraordinary true story of award-winning journalist David Holthouse's secret plot to murder the man who raped him when he was seven years old.

The Belgrade Theatre is thrilled to present the UK premiere stage production of Wipers, a new play by Ishy Din inspired by the real life story of Khuddadad Khan, the first South Asian soldier to be awarded a Victoria Cross for his extraordinary bravery at the First Battle of Ypres.

Actors Touring Company, together with the Royal Lyceum Theatre Edinburgh, is delighted to present the British premiere of Aeschylus' The Suppliant Women in a new version by internationally-renowned playwright David Greig. As the anticipated incoming Artistic Director of The Lyceum, Greig is also collaborating with ATC to reunite the world-class creative team behind the hugely acclaimedThe Events - director Ramin Gray and composer John Browne.

Simon Stokes, Artistic Director of Theatre Royal Plymouth, today announces full cast for the London run of Monster Raving Loony. Samuel James reprises his role as Screaming Lord Sutch, alongside original cast members including Joseph Alessi, Joanna Brookes, Jack Brown, and composer/musician Tom Attwood and they are joined by Vivienne Acheampong who completes the cast for the London run. Set & Costume Design is by Bob Bailey with lighting design by Chahine Yavroyan, audio visual design by Duncan McLean and sound design by Gregory Clarke.  Guest Director is Cal McCrystal (with a trademark bravura farce contribution).

59E59 Theaters will host the US premiere of TOAST, written by Richard Bean and directed by Eleanor Rhode. Produced by Snapdragon Productions, in association with Jagged Fence Theatre for the 2016 Brits Off Broadway festival, TOAST begins performances today, April 20 for a limited engagement through Sunday, May 22.  Press opening is Today, April 27 at 7 PM.

This Spring, The Mercury Theatre Colchester bring some unexpected twists to one of Noel Coward's most celebrated plays. Pete Ashmore and Krissi Bohn star as theatre's most volatile and passionate couple Elyot Chase and Amanda Prynne in the classic comedy of manners, Private Lives, which is taken out of the 1930s and brought into a modern day setting. Joining the ever warring but hopelessly in love pair are Robin Kingsland as Victor, Olivia Onyehara as Sybil and Christine Absalom as the maid.

James Graham's critically acclaimed political drama THIS HOUSE will transfer to the Garrick Theatre, following its upcoming run at Chichester's Minerva Theatre.

Among this year's nominees for Outstanding Musical Production by a Large Theater are WAITRESS and NATASHA, PIERRE, AND THE  GREAT COMET OF 1812, both at American Repertory Theatre. Tony winner Jessie Mueller and Denee Benton also each received nods for their respective performances. 

With its UK premiere earlier this year at The Drum, Theatre Royal Plymouth's fast-paced, hilarious and (slightly) bonkers Monster Raving Loony brings its party fun and punkish anarchy to Soho Theatre next month.  Opening on 17 May,Monster Raving Loony by James Graham will preview from 14 May, and run until 18 June.

Following a critically-acclaimed Edinburgh production in 2014, THIS IS LIVING by award-winning debut play by Liam Borrett, starring Michael Socha (E4's The Aliens, This is England, Being Human) and Tamla Kari (BBC's The Musketeers, The Inbetweeners Movie, Versailles (Donmar)) is a poignant and relatable exploration of what it means to say goodbye.

Following a sell-out international tour, this critically and publicly acclaimed production of 1984 will return to the Playhouse Theatre in London's West End this summer. George Orwell's dystopian masterpiece, adapted by Olivier Award-winner Robert Icke and Olivier Award-nominee Duncan Macmillan, will preview from 14 June 2016, with the press night on 28 June 2016.

The Almeida Theatre announces the cast for the world premiere of Boy, a new play by Leo Butler, directed by Sacha Wares. The cast is Mohammad Amiri, Osmain Baig, Ruby Bridle, Emilio Doorgasingh, Terina Drayton, Aeran Fitzgerald, Frankie Fox, Ellie Mai Gallagher, Bayleigh Gray, Zainab Hasan, Duramaney Kamara, Asiatu Koroma, Wendy Kweh, Lev Litvinov, Georgie Lord, Angel Loren, Teann McDonnell, Eugenie-Alexia Mulumba, Sarah Niles, Demi Papaminas, Imogen Roberts, Abdul Salis, Morgane Tapia,Peter Temple and Matthew Wellard. Boy will run at the Almeida Theatre from 5 April until 28 May, with a Press Night on 12 April.

?Artistic Director of the Tricycle Theatre, Indhu Rubasingham, today announces the full cast for the UK premiere of The Invisible Hand - a political thriller from Ayad Akhtar who won the Pulitzer Prize for his play Disgraced which ran at the Bush Theatre in 2013.

The Royal Lyceum Theatre, Edinburgh is delighted to announce full casting for its epic production of the classical Greek poem, The Iliad, directed by its Artistic Director, Mark Thomson. Olivier Award nominee Melody Grove, currently nominated for 'Best Actress in a Supporting Role' for her critically acclaimed performance alongside Mark Rylance in Farinelli and the King in London's West End last winter, will perform in this lavish and visceral production that explores the basic human emotions of love, jealousy and revenge against the backdrop of the Trojan War. This will be Thomson's final production, as Artistic Director, after 13 years at Scotland's largest producing theatre. The Iliad will run from 20 April to 14 May.

Artistic Director Christopher Haydon today announces full casting for the world premiere of The Iphigenia Quartet which includes Agamemnon, written by Caroline Bird and directed by Christopher Haydon; Chorus, written by Chris Thorpe and directed by Elayce Ismail; Iphigenia by Suhayla El-Bushra and directed by Rebecca Hill and Clytemnestra by Lulu Raczka and directed by Jennifer Tang. In Agamemnon, Andrew French plays Agamemnon, Nigel Barratt plays Menelaus, Sharon Duncan-Brewster plays Clytemnestra and Louise McMenemy plays Messenger. The cast of Agamemnon will all play Voice in Chorus. In Iphigenia and Clytemnestra, Shannon Tarbet plays Iphigenia and Maid, Susie Trayling plays Clytemnestra and Professor, Dwane Walcott plays Achilles and Soldier and Anthony Barclay plays Agamemnon and Director. The Iphigenia Quartet opens at the Gate Theatre, on 3 May, with previews from 23 April, until 21 May. Agamemnon and Clytemnestra will play in rep with Iphigenia and Chorus as part of Nuclear: A Season about the Family.

Birmingham Repertory Theatre, in association with Ramps On The Moon, presents THE GOVERNMENT INSPECTOR, written by Nikolai Gogol, adapted by David Harrower and directed by Roxana Silbert. The play will tour the UK from 19th March to 25th June 2016.

Papatango today announces the full cast for the world premiere of After Independence by May Sumbwanyambe. George Turvey directs Stefan Adegbola (Charles), Sandra Duncan (Kathleen), Peter Guinness (Guy) and Beatriz Romilly (Chipo) in the production which opens at the Arcola Theatre on 6 May, with previews from 4 May, and runs until 28 May 2016.
