Love, Loss, and What I Wore's newest cast members Emily Dorsch (Lincoln Center's In The Next Room) and Tony Award-winner Daisy Eagan (The Secret Garden) joined returning cast members Sonia Manzano (Maria on "Sesame Street"), Loretta Swit (Hot Lips Houlihan on "MASH") and Myra Lucretia Taylor (Broadway's Nine) to celebrate the production's 900 performance last night, December 15.

New York Women in Film & Television (NYWIFT), which has supported the advancement of women in the entertainment industry for more than 30 years, will present their 31th annual Muse Awards at a gala luncheon to be held Wednesday, December 7th at the New York Hilton.

'Emily Bergl Live at the Algonquin: Kidding on the Square' will be available on Amazon and iTunes, and commemorated with a special CD release party at the Oak Room. 'Kidding on the Square' was originally recorded during a sold out run, which received raves from audiences and critics. Stephen Holden of the NY Times described Ms. Bergl as 'incandescent...a gust of fresh air that could knock you off your feet,' and Will Friedwald of the Wall Street Journal declared that 'in her major-league nightclub debut, Ms. Bergl has hit a home run.' Transport Group, the Drama Desk and OBIE award-winning theatre company, has announced that its 2011 Gimme A Break! benefit will honor playwright Douglas Carter Beane and composer/lyricist Lewis Flinn on Monday, December 5 at 6:30pm, at the Asia Society and Museum, 725 Park Avenue at 70th Street.

Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts will present the Arizona premiere of the international hit play Love, Loss, and What I Wore on Jan. 3-8, 2012. The show's Scottsdale cast will feature five actresses, including Loretta Swit, a star of the long-running television comedy M*A*S*H.

Producer Daryl Roth announced today that Tony Award-winner Daisy Eagan (The Secret Garden) will join returning cast members Myra Lucretia Taylor (Wicked; Nine), Sonia Manzano (Maria on "Sesame Street") and Loretta Swit ('Hot Lips Houlihan' on "M*A*S*H") for the December cast of the Off Broadway hit Love, Loss, and What I Wore beginning Wednesday, December 7, 2011 (through Friday, December 30) at the Westside Theatre (407 West 43 Street). Following their Off Broadway run, the cast will launch the show's first national tour, which begins in Scottsdale, Arizona at the Mesa Arts Center (January 2 - 8, 2012). The current touring schedule includes:

Linda Kelsey, Saint Paul actress, five-time Emmy Award™ nominee and co-chair of Park Square Theatre's $4.2 million Next Stage Campaign, is raising money the old fashioned way - by putting on a show. To perform Love, Loss and What I Wore, Kelsey has assembled a cast of great women from the Twin Cities theatre scene to join her in the production: Sally Wingert (the Guthrie veteran last seen at Park Square in Spinning Into Butter), Mo Perry (featured in The Last Seder and Othello), Virginia Burke (who earned rave reviews for her turn in August: Osage County) and Aditi Kapil (one of Park Square's new Artistic Associates). Leah Cooper, who directed Park Square's searing season opener August: Osage County, will direct. The benefit performance will take place at Park Square one night only on Monday, February 13, 2012. Tickets are "pay what you think it's worth" and reservations will be available starting Friday, January 13.
