It has been widely reported that Fox's 'American Idol' will be revamped for its upcoming season. The Hollywood Reporter has now published a list of the changes.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Fox's American Idol is aiming for 'transparency' in season ten, meaning 'producers are looking to add behind-the-scenes elements and find ways to have the singers interact with fans.'

Television's No. 1 series, AMERICAN IDOL, will move to Wednesdays and Thursdays this season beginning with a two-night premiere event Wednesday, Jan. 19 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) and Thursday, Jan. 20 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT).

FOX has ordered an eighth season of the original dance competition show, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, and auditions for the new season will begin Wednesday, Oct. 13 in Oakland, CA, at the Paramount Theatre of the Arts. The SYTYCD Tour dancers along with host, Cat Deeley, took over Six Flags Magic Mountain, CA for the SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE 2010 TOUR LAUNCH PARTY on Friday, September 3, 2010.
