The search is on for CMT'S NEXT SUPERSTAR as five men and five women fight for the title in CMT's latest competition series premiering Friday, April 8 at 9:00 p.m., ET/PT.

Down to just nine performers, American Idol's remaining contestants have proven week after week that they make up perhaps the most talented bunch of finalists in the show's 10 season history. No complaints there, but such a statistic also means that even excellent performances tonight could warrant a ticket home.

The IDOLs will be accompanied by legendary rock guitarist Jeff Beck, who will be performing with Ray Chew and the AMERICAN IDOL band.

Season ten of American Idol has introduced many welcomed changes that have revamped the show for the better.
