Pegasus Theatre Chicago is proud to announce the authors and plays being presented at the 30th Young Playwrights Festival, January 4 - 29 at Pegasus's resident home Chicago Dramatists, 773 N. Aberdeen. This year's world premieres, written by high school students and given a staged professional production, explore the theme of "Assumptions." Each winning production is performed in tandem Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. with weekday student matinees. On Monday evening April 13th, cast members from the Broadway National Tour of 'Mamma Mia' will trade in their spandex and platform shoes for loofas and shower caps at 'Shower Songs - Guilty Pleasures from Bathrooms Across the Country' a one night only benefit concert for Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS. This eclectic evening of songs with music directed by Bill Congdon will take place at West Hollywood's iconic venue The Abbey (629 N Robertson Blvd, West Hollywood, CA) at 8PM and will feature a special performance by the legendary Candis Cayne (Dirty Sexy Money).

Several Chicagoans, including Susie McMonagle (Donna Sheridan), Michael Aaron Lindner (Harry Bright), and Nathan Alan Johnson (Ensemble) will perform in the national touring production set to hit Chicago's stage this fall. Broadway In Chicago is thrilled to present the national tour of MAMMA MIA! for a limited two-week engagement in Chicago September 17 - 28, 2008. The tour continues playing to record breaking houses all across North America.
