RABBIT HOLE is a vivid, hopeful, honest and unexpectedly witty portrait of a family searching for what remains possible in the most impossible of all situations. Becca and Howie Corbett (NICOLE KIDMAN and AARON ECKHART) are returning to their everyday existence in the wake of a shocking, sudden loss.

The Thin Man is a 1934 American comic detective film starring William Powell and Myrna Loy as Nick and Nora Charles, a flirtatious married couple who banter wittily as they solve crimes with ease. Nick is a hard drinking retired detective and Nora a wealthy heiress. Their dog, the Wire-Haired Fox Terrier Asta, played by Skippy, was also a popular character. Completed in 1934 and nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture, the film was directed by W.S. Van Dyke from a script by Albert Hackett and Frances Goodrich; the screenplay was based on the mystery novel The Thin Man by Dashiell Hammett, supposedly based on his relationship with playwright Lillian Hellman. Also appearing in the film were Maureen O'Sullivan, Nat Pendleton, Minna Gombell, Cesar Romero and Porter Hall.

Livejournal.com reports today that Leonardo DiCaprio, Toby McGuire and Rebecca Hall led a workshop of Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby remake in the roles of Jay Gatsby, Nick Carraway and Daisy Buchanan, respectively. The roles were last made famous on screen by Robert Redford, Sam Waterston and Mia Farrow in Francis Ford Coppola's adaptation, directed by Jack Clayton. Michael Riedel is reporting in today's New York Post that Nicole Kidman, who was last seen on Broadway in 1998 in THE BLUE ROOM, will be returning to the stage next fall in a revival of Tennessee Williams' SWEET BIRD OF YOUTH, directed by David Cromer.
