Meet the little pig with big dreams in Polka's new stage adaptation of Dick King-Smith's much loved novel Babe, The Sheep-Pig. Featuring stunning puppetry, original music and a charming 'baa-ber sheep' quartet, Babe, the Sheep-Pig runs on Polka's Main Stage from 25 Nov 2016 - 5 Feb 2017 for the whole family ages 5 and up. With a subsequent national tour throughout 2017, this is Polka's biggest ever production.
Adapted from Dick King-Smith's much-loved children's novel which inspired the Oscar-winning 1995 film, Babe, The Sheep-Pig will be brought to life on stage in an enchanting new production, embarking on a major UK Tour in 2017 following a Christmas season at Polka Theatre. Featuring stunning puppetry, an original score and an utterly charming 'baa-ber sheep' quartet, the tour will launch from West Yorkshire Playhouse on Monday 13 February and run until September 2017. She now takes the role of Amma in the spring tour of Lee's affectionate family tale about three mixed race sisters and their relationship with their hair.
