While home in London for the holidays, LATE LATE SHOW's James Corden picked up his friend Adele for a drive around the city singing some of her classic songs before Adele raps Nicki Minaj's 'Monster.'

Production began this week for the scripted comedy “Nicki” from executive producer Nicki Minaj. Directed by Tim Story (“Ride Along,” “Think Like a Man”) and shot in Queens, New York, “Nicki” stars Ariana Neal (“Get Hard,” “Fruitvale Station”), Selita Ebanks (“Real Husbands of Hollywood“), Wesley Jonathan (“The Soul Man”) and McCarrie McCausland (“Army Wives,” “The Originals”).  Whoopi Goldberg and J.B. Smoove will guest star in the first episode.

ABC Family will officially be renamed Freeform today, January 12, the same day as the season premiere of its #1 hit series, 'Pretty Little Liars,' and the world premiere of its new original series, 'Shadowhunters.'

Today ABC Family confirmed cast for the scripted comedy “Nicki.” Ariana Neal (“Get Hard,” “Fruitvale Station”) will play Nicki, a role inspired by Nicki Minaj in her early years before she became a Grammy Award-nominated, multiplatinum superstar; Selita Ebanks (“Real Husbands of Hollywood“) will play the role of Grace, Nicki's mom; Wesley Jonathan (“The Soul Man”) will play Vincent, Nicki and Jaylen's father; and McCarrie McCausland (“Army Wives,” “The Originals”) is cast as Jaylen, Nicki's older brother. Whoopi Goldberg will guest star as Nicki's neighbor, Miss Martha. Minaj is executive producer and will also appear in the show. ABC Family is becoming Freeform on January 12, 2016.
