The Old Globe today announced that its 2018-2019 Season will kick off with the world premiere of the new musical Heart of Rock and Roll, inspired by the songs of Huey Lewis and the News, featuring a book by Jonathan Abrams and story by Tyler Mitchell and Jonathan Abrams. It will be directed by Gordon Greenberg with choreography by Lorin Latarro and music supervision, arrangements, and orchestrations by Brian Usifer. Heart of Rock and Roll will bepresented by special arrangement with Tyler Mitchell, W. Leo Kiely, Bill Kiely, Whitney Kiely Moehle, and Tamar Climan. Daniel Tosh Extends With Comedy Central For Three More Seasons Of TOSH.0

Last night, Evvie McKinney from Memphis, TN, was crowned the first-ever winner of THE FOUR: BATTLE FOR STARDOM. The music competition series, hosted by Fergie, features expert panelists Sean 'Diddy' Combs, DJ Khaled and Meghan Trainor.

Comedy Central and Daniel Tosh have agreed to a contract extension for three additional seasons of Tosh.0, it was announced today by Kent Alterman, President, Comedy Central. The new seasons of Tosh.0 will keep Comedy Central's Tuesday night anchor in originals through 2020 with the 10th season to debut on Tuesday, March 27 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley presents the Tony Award-winning musical The Bridges of Madison County, based on the 1992 bestselling novel by Robert James Waller about love both lost and found. Set amidst the cornfields of Iowa in 1965, this passionate musical follows the unexpected affair of a devoted Italian-born housewife and a roving National Geographic photographer set over four sensual, heart-stirring days. Brilliantly adapted by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning playwright Marsha Norman ('night Mother, The Secret Garden, The Color Purple) with music and lyrics by Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown (Parade), it captured the 2014 Tony Award for Best Musical Score. Ovens Auditorium will host PAW Patrol Live! 'The Great Pirate Adventure' from June 22 to 24 with six performances. The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) today proudly announced that Bill Hayes and Susan Seaforth Hayes, stars of television, film and stage and Sid and Marty Krofft, two legendary television producers, will be honored with Lifetime Achievement Awards this year during the Daytime Emmy® Awards.  The Krofft Brothers will be celebrated at the 45th Daytime Creative Arts Emmy® Awards which will take place on Friday, April 27th, 2018, while Bill Hayes and Susan Seaforth Hayes will be celebrated on Sunday, April 29th, 2018 at the 45th Daytime Emmy® Awards.  Both presentations will take place at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Southern California.
