'I know I'm who I am today, because I knew you...' This words by the late Kevin Gray come back to him as 150 Broadway colleagues join their voices in song and music as a loving tribute to an artist/teacher and friend who who never knew how loved he was.

?The Old Globe and Hartford Stage's co-production of Kiss Me, Kate, the classic musical comedy featuring a book by Sam and Bella Spewack and an iconic score by Cole Porter, will be choreographed by Peggy Hickey and directed by Hartford Stage Artistic Director and former Old Globe Shakespeare Festival Artistic Director Darko Tresnjak, who won the 2014 Tony Award for Best Direction of a Musical for A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, which made its world premiere at The Old Globe and Hartford Stage in 2013. The Hartford Stage engagement runs May 14 - June 14; The Old Globe engagement will begin performances on July 1 and run through August 2, with opening night on Thursday, July 9 at 8:00 p.m. Scroll down for a first look at the cast in action!

Actors' Equity Association ('Equity'), the U.S. labor union that represents more than 50,000 professional actors and stage managers, today announced the results of its 2015 national council election, with all seats effective immediately for three-year terms. Kate Shindle was named as new president of the union, replacing incumbent Nick Wyman.  Running uncontested in top-ranking officer positions were Paige Price (First Vice President), Rebecca Kim Jordan (Second Vice President), Ira Mont (Third Vice President) and Sandra Karas (Secretary/Treasurer).

SoHo International Film Festival will be screening the New York premiere of Demos Bizar and GiMe Productions short film, Policy of Truth, tonight, May 19 at 8pm.

Long Wharf Theatre, under the leadership of Artistic Director Gordon Edelstein and Managing Director Joshua Borenstein, concludes its 50th anniversary season with the world premiere of The Second Mrs. Wilson by Joe DiPietro. The show runs now through May 31, 2015 on the Claire Tow Stage in the C. As of yesterday, May 12, REBECCA's publicist Marc Thibodeau has been found liable for sending emails that caused a potential investor to pull millions from the Broadway musical in its eleventh hour of need. Following this latest development, lawyer Ronald Russo, who represents REBECCA and its lead producer Ben Sprecher on all matters regarding Thibodeau, has issued a statement in response to the press agent's recent comments.

Music for SLAUGHTERHOUSE FIVE is by Jed Feuer (THE BIG BANG, EATING RAOUL), with book & lyrics by Adele Ahronheim (THE WILD SWANS, THE CAPTAIN'S DAUGHTER). The presentation will be directed by Gabriel Barre (AMAZING GRACE, Andrew Lippa's THE WILD PARTY, JOHN & JEN).
