After a sold-out benefit run for BC/EFA this February, producers of PAGEANT - THE MUSICAL have announced the show will return in a limited Off-Broadway engagement at The Davenport Theatre (354 West 45th Street) beginning Sunday, June 29, 2014, with an official opening on Monday, July 14, 2014. The cast of tiara-crazed beauties includes Nick Cearley ('The Skivvies'), Frankie J. Grande (Mamma Mia), Alex Ringler (West Side Story), Marty Thomas (Xanadu), Seth Tucker (Our Kiki), and Curtis Wiley (Motown), with additional casting to be announced soon.
These Boots Were Made for Rockin', two concerts organized by Mark Fisher Fitness and featuring Kinky cast members, took place on Monday at 54 Below, to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS in support of Broadway Bares: Rock Hard. Second Stage Theatre's 35th Anniversary Gala celebration just honored Carole Rothman, Artistic Director of Second StageTheatre, for her 35 years of supporting new works and artistic development in New York City theatre. This year's rock n' roll themed gala was attended by over 250 Second Stage Alumni who have worked at Second Stage Theatre during the past 35 years, from Brooke Adams and Polly Draper who appeared in the very first season, to cast members from the currently running The Substance of Fire and the upcoming American Hero which will make its New York premiere this summer at Second Stage Uptown. Special guests participating in the evening's festivities included Lynn Nottage, Cynthia Nixon, Tony Goldwyn, and more.

Artistic Director John McDaniel announced headliners for the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center's 2014 Cabaret & Performance Conference today. The ten-day Conference begins July 23 with nightly performances. The Grand Finale ends the O'Neill summer season on Saturday evening, August 2.
