The New Group will present the U.S. premiere of Ayub Khan-Din's Rafta, Rafta… in a limited Off-Broadway run from April 18 - June 21.

The Music Center of Los Angeles County announces the sixth season of the Dance at the Music Center series. The season opens with the return of Miami City Ballet led by Artistic Director Edward Villella, performing the much anticipated, West Coast premiere of NIGHTSPOT a Twyla Tharp and Elvis Costello collaboration, October 24-26. Known for her innovation and creativity, Twyla Tharp has created some of the most memorable dances in modern repertory.

Obie Award winning Immigrants' Theatre Project in collaboration with John Stark Productions presents the New York Premiere of Jovanka Bach's MARKO THE PRINCE.

The Play Company hosts its fifth annual Cabaret Gourmet gala on Monday, April 28 at The Metropolitan Pavilion. This year honoring the renowned editor and author Judith Jones, Cabaret Gourmet is a theatrical celebration of food, glorious food and a tribute to the shared spirit of the culinary and theater arts.

Among the many real-life characters depicted are Peter H. Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) announced New York premiere of Lisa Loomer's Distracted, directed by Mark Brokaw with Cynthia Nixon as 'Mama.' Distracted will begin performances in February 2009 at the Laura Pels Theatre at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street). This will be a limited engagement.

Broadway In Chicago is proud to present the Chicago premiere of Avenue Q - the Tony Award-winning smash-hit musical about trying to make it in New York with big dreams and a tiny bank account. Avenue Q will play for a limited three-week engagement from May 21 - June 7, 2008 at the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W. Randolph St) as part of its national tour.

The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Mara Manus) will begin previews for THE FEVER CHART: THREE VISIONS OF THE MIDDLE EAST, the fourth play of the inaugural PUBLIC LAB initiative. Written by Naomi Wallace and directed by Jo Bonney, THE FEVER CHART: THREE VISIONS OF THE MIDDLE EAST tells three distinct stories set in different parts of the Middle East. Tickets are $10 for all performances.

Atlantic Theater Company's (Neil Pepe, Artistic Director; Andrew D. Hamingson, Managing Director) 2008 Annual Spring gala, entitled 'Why Can't It Be a Musical? An Evening of Unexpected Musical Adaptations,' will be hosted by Academy Award winner F. Murray Abraham and Atlantic ensemble member and Emmy Award winner Kristen Johnston on Monday, April 28th, 2008 at the fabled Rainbow Room (30 Rockefeller Plaza, 65th floor).

Kathleen Chalfant, one of the theater's most celebrated actors, will star in the World Premiere of Alexander Dinelaris' searing new play, 'Red Dog Howls' at the El Portal Theatre for a strictly limited five week engagement from May 14 to June 13.

Obie winner and Tony Award nominee Reg Rogers will star in The Injured Party, a new comedy by Tony Award-winning playwright Richard Greenberg. Commissioned by SCR and directed by Trip Cullman, The Injured Party will receive its World Premiere at South Coast Repertory during the 11th annual Pacific Playwrights Festival. The show will run from April 20 through May 11, 2008 on the Julianne Argyros Stage. Low-priced previews are available from April 20 through April 24. Opening night is April 25. The New Group proudly presents the US premiere of Mike Leigh's Two Thousand Years, set for a limited Off-Broadway engagement through March 8; officially opening tonight Thursday February 7 at 7PM at The Acorn Theatre (Theatre Row) at. Scott Elliott directs.

Next up for The New Group will be Rafta, Rafta... by Ayub Khan-Din. Previews will begin Tuesday, April 22 and the show is set for a limited 8-week Off-Broadway run.
