The cast and crew marked the special day with a pre-performance anniversary cake prior to the evening show at the theatre.

Actually, the name of the show is Dust, a new thriller starring Emmy Award nominee Richard Masur (Democracy, 'All My Children') and Tony Award nominee Hunter Foster (Urinetown, Little Shop of Horrors), which opens on Thursday, December 4th at 7:00PM at the Westside Theatre. The New School for Drama has announced that two award-winning artists, playwright Jon Robin Baitz and director Jo Bonney, will be joining the faculty for the Spring 2009 semester. Baitz will be teaching Playwriting and Bonney will be instructing a course on Directing Short Plays. Baitz will be teaching while faculty member Michael Weller is on leave.

SPRING AWAKENING, Broadway's Tony Award-winning musical is holding a special benefit concert to support SafePlace.
The December 15th concert will feature the current cast of the Broadway show 'Spring Awakening,' as well as special guest, original cast member and Tony-Award nominee Jonathan Groff. The evening will feature all new arrangements of Holiday songs by 'Spring Awakening' vocal arranger Ann Marie Milazzo, and will be musically directed by Kimberly Grigsby.
Keen Teens, the educational theatre partnership between Off-Broadway's Keen Company and the publishing company Playscripts, Inc. has selected the writers for the program's third season. Liz Flahive, Jason Grote and Cheri Magid have been commissioned to write thirty minute, large cast plays, which will be produced with student actors Off-Broadway in May 2009.
