AVENUE Q At Pantages Offers Day Of Performance Lottery 3/1-6

The 2004 Tony® Award winner for Best Musical, AVENUE Q - the smash hit about real life in New York City, as told by a cast of people and puppets - will return to Los Angeles for a strictly-limited 8 performance run, March 1 - 6, 2011.

Peter Blum Soho Presents Robert Zandvliet's PIER AND OCEAN Exhibition, 2/3-3/26

Peter Blum is pleased to announce Pier and Ocean, a solo exhibition of new paintings and works on paper by Robert Zandvliet opening Thursday, February 3rd at Peter Blum Soho, 99 Wooster Street, New York. This exhibition will end on Saturday, March 26th. There will be a reception for the artist on Thursday, February 3, from 6 to 8 p.m. This will be Robert Zandvliet's fourth solo exhibition with Peter Blum.

Keen Co Continues 10th Anniversary Season with BENEFACTORS, 3/22-4/30

The Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Keen Company (Carl Forsman, Artistic Director/Wayne Kelton, Executive Director) today announced the cast for the 25th Anniversary production of Benefactors. Carl Forsman will direct a cast that includes Vivienne Benesch (appeared opposite Maggie Smith in the London revival of Edward Albee's The Lady from Dubuque; OBIE winner for Lee Blessing's Going to St. Ives), Daniel Jenkins (Love Child, Mary Poppins, Tony nominee for Big River), Deanne Lorette (La Bete), and Stephen Barker Turner (Rinne Groff's Compulsion opposite Mandy Patinkin).

SHREK Comes To Devos Performance Hall 6/21-26

DreamWorks Theatricals and Neal Street Productions, Ltd. are pleased to announce that SHREK THE MUSICAL with book and lyrics by David Lindsay-Abaire and music by Jeanine Tesori, directed by Jason Moore and Rob Ashford, will play DeVos Performance Hall, for one week only, June 21-26, 2011.

Hanggi, Thalken, Slade, Campbell & More Set for New Musical AND THE CURTAIN RISES at Signature

Virginia's Tony Award®-winning Signature Theatre has announced the artistic team behind the upcoming world premiere of the musical comedy And the Curtain Rises (formerly known as Wheatley's Folly), which begins performances on Thursday, March 17, 2011. And the Curtain Rises marks the third production presented as part of Signature's groundbreaking American Musical Voices Project, the largest commissioning program for new musicals in the country, following Michael John LaChiusa's Giant in 2009 and Ricky Ian Gordon's Sycamore Trees last year.

Writers' Theatre Presents Premiere of Brett Neveu's DO THE HUSTLE 1/25-3/20

Writers' Theatre Artistic Director Michael Halberstam and Executive Director Kathryn M. Lipuma announce the world premiere of DO THE HUSTLE by Brett Neveu. The production, directed by William Brown, runs January 25-March 20, 2011, at Writers' Theatre, 325 Tudor Court in Glencoe. The press performance is on Thursday, February 3, 2011, at 7:30 p.m.

Kevin Anderson and Catherine Dent, et. al, Join THE BREAK OF NOON at Geffen, 1/25

Broadway veteran Kevin Anderson leads the cast in the Los Angeles run of world premiere production of Neil LaBute's The Break of Noon. The Break of Noon, which is a co-production with MCC in New York, will feature Catherine Dent as well as Tracee Chimo and John Earl Jelks, who performed their roles in the New York portion of the run. Helmed by director Jo Bonney, The Break of Noon begins in previews on January 25, 2011 and officially opens February 2, 2011.
