Jason Michael Snow, Tobias Segal, et al. Set for REAGAN Reading, 5/16

Alexander Greenfield (Asst. Director, BORN YESTERDAY) will direct a cast that includes Jason Michael Snow (The Book of Mormon), Tobias Segal (The Miracle Worker), Arden Myrin (Chelsea Lately), Lucas Near-Verbrugghe (Bloody, Bloody Andrew Jackson) Maggie Low (Times of War) and Elizabeth West (The Women) in a reading of Pulitzer- nominated Tom Diggs' new play LOVE IN THE TIME OF REAGAN at an industry reading in midtown Manhattan one day only on May 16, 2011 at 3 pm in an undisclosed location.

Spike TV Announces New Non-Scripted Original Pilots

Spike TV announces an ambitious new slate of non-scripted original pilots aimed at the network's core audience of Men 18-34, while also appealing to the network's expanding audience of Men 35-49. The pilots in development follow a distinctive theme of authentic characters in a high risk/high reward environment, similar to that of the network's new crop of successful original series, 'Auction Hunters,' 'Coal' and 'Repo Games.'

Alec Baldwin to Host SummerDoc Series, 6/4

The SummerDocs series, a program of The Hamptons International Film Festival (HIFF) will present BUCK, this year's Sundance Film Festival Audience Award winner and IFC Films release, at Guild Hall in East Hampton on Saturday, June 4th at 8pm it was announced today by HIFF Executive Director Karen Arikian. James Lipton will be a special guest host for the evening's events. Lipton is the host of Inside the Actors Studio on Bravo.

Belkin, Prince, et al. Set for KNICKERBOCKER Discussions, 5/17 & 24

The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Interim Executive Director Joey Parnes) will present post-show discussions following select performances of KNICKERBOCKER, written by Jonathan Marc Sherman and directed by Pippin Parker. The Public LAB Speaker Series for KNICKERBOCKER will be held following the Tuesday, May 17 and Tuesday, May 24 performances. Tickets are $15 for all performances of KNICKERBOCKER and include free admission to the post-show discussions.

New Group to Honor Wallace Shawn at 2011 Gala, 5/9

The New Group will honor Wallace Shawn and Fred Wistow with their 2011 Michael Mendelson Award for Outstanding Commitment to Theater. The gala will take place on May 9 at Capitale, and will include a dinner, rection and auction.

Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director) kicks off this summer's Second Stage Theatre Uptown Series with the world premiere of Sex Lives of Our Parents, written by Michael Mitnick. Directed by Davis McCallum, Sex Lives of Our Parents will feature Teddy Bergman (Peter and the Starcatcher), Lisa Emery (Far East), Daniel Jenkins (Mary Poppins), Virginia Kull (Dividing the Estate), Ben Rappaport (NBC's 'Outsourced') and Mark Zeisler (Second Stage Theatre's Eurydice). Previews begin on June 7th and opening night is Wednesday, June 22.

Comedy Central Launches Facebook Countdown to Futurama Season Premiere

COMEDY CENTRAL is taking 'Futurama' fans on a 50 day multi-platform journey leading up to the season premiere on Thursday, June 23 at 10 p.m. The 'Countdown To 'Futurama' launches on Facebook on Wednesday, May 4 - every day for 50 days, the network will release a new piece of exclusive content including preview clips, character designs, episode stills, story boards and much more. For the kick-off, COMEDY CENTRAL will post a sneak peek clip from the season premiere episode. 'Futurama's' Facebook page has over 12 million fans and ranks among the Top 5 animated television show pages.

2011 Tony Awards Nominees: 'Best Scenic Design of a Musical'

Nominations in 26 competitive categories for the American Theatre Wing's 65th Annual Antoinette Perry 'Tony' Awards were announced May 3, 2011 by Tony Award winning actor Matthew Broderick and Tony Award winning actress Anika Noni Rose, at the Tony Award Nominations Announcement sponsored by IBM.
