Questing Beast Productions is proud to present the 2014 FringeNYC Encores performances of HOAXOCAUST!, written and performed by Barry Levey, directed by Jeremy Gold Kronenberg (Caroline, or Change - NYIT Award Outstanding Production of a Musical Nominee). HOAXOCAUST! Winner of this year's 18th Annual New York International Fringe Festival - FringeNYC Overall Excellence Award.

Tickets go on sale today for FISH IN THE DARK, the new comedy starring and written by Larry David, the creator and star of HBO's 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' and co-creator of 'Seinfeld.' FISH IN THE DARK, to be directed by Anna D. Shapiro, will mark Larry David's Broadway debut and will feature Jayne Houdyshell, Jake Cannavale, Jonny Orsini, Rosie Perez, and Jerry Adler. The production will begin previews Monday, February 2, and open on Thursday, March 5 at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street). Additional casting will be announced at a later date.

Beginning tonight, the Off-Broadway smash THEY CALL ME Q is adding Tuesday evenings to its fall playing schedule at St. Luke's Theatre. The award-winning THEY CALL ME Q opened on June 4th to unanimous rave reviews, led by the Village Voice which lauded the emotionally charged comedy for delivering "a winning tale thanks to author and actor Qurrat Ann Kadwani's dead-on impersonations of New Yorkers and some unselfconscious spoofing of her own immigrant iterations growing up tough in the Bronx."

Marvel's most popular super hero, Spider-Man, swings into a new season in 'Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors,' premiering TODAY, AUGUST 31 (9:00 a.m., ET/PT) on the Marvel Universe programming block on Disney XD.

Due to overwhelming demand, the hit Off-Broadway play THEY CALL ME Q today put a new block of seats on sale through October 18th. Qurrat Ann Kadwani, author and star of the Off-Broadway hit play THEY CALL ME Q, served as Panel Facilitator at the Champion of Change Awards presented by World Women Global Council Inc. on August 15th at the United Nations. Honorees at the event included Marie C. Wilson, founder & president emerita of The White House Project; NY1's Cheryl Wills; Roxana Saberi, journalist for Al Jazeerra; and Reshma Saujani, founder of Girl's Who Code.

Award-winning Pipeline Theatre Company announces a 2nd extension of its wildly popular and critically acclaimed production of CLOWN BAR by Adam Szymkowicz, with music & additional lyrics by Adam Overett. It is directed by Andrew Neisler. Performances will now run through September 27 at The Box.

Theatrical Outfit begins its Season of Compassion with the dramatic comedy The Savannah Disputation, written by Georgia-born playwright Evan Smith and, he says, inspired by today's politics and his Savannah grandmother. The show will run August 21 - September 7, 2014. The show will feature Alex Bond, Lane Carlock, Shannon Eubanks and Mark Kincaid. This is the 38th season for Theatrical Outfit, the second-oldest professional theater company in Atlanta, and the home of stories that stir the soul.

Richard Nader's Doo Wop and Rock & Roll All Stars will return to The VETS in Providence on Saturday, May 2nd, 2015 at 8pm with an all new line-up of legendary singers. Tickets are $28-$58. A limited number of VIP tickets are also available for $88 that include an artist meet and greet. The New Group has announced today complete production dates for David Rabe's Sticks and Bones, the first production in the company's 20th Anniversary Season. Previews begin Tuesday, October 21, in advance of an Official Opening Night on Thursday, November 6. As announced earlier, Sticks and Bones, directed by Scott Elliott and featuring Richard Chamberlain, Nadia Gan, Holly Hunter, Morocco Omari, Bill Pullman, Ben Schnetzer and Raviv Ullman, will play a limited Off-Broadway engagement through December 14 at The New Group at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street).

VH1's hit franchise “Love & Hip Hop” is heading to Tinseltown with the series premiere of “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood.”

None of the Above by Jenny Lyn Bader will be presented by Pegasus Theatre as a Churchmouse production at the Bath House Cultural Center today, August 14 - 30, 2014. None of the Above will be directed by Jared Culpepper.

On­­­­ Friday, September 12 and Sunday, September 14 at 7:30 PM, AOP (American Opera Projects) will present these and other excerpts of new operas at COMPOSERS & THE VOICE: SIX SCENES 2014, the culmination of this season's Composers & the Voice (C&V) opera training program. Audiences will see scenes by five emerging composers - Guy Barash, Avner Finberg, Jeremy Gill, Andreia Pinto-Correia, Gity Razaz - and one composer/librettist team, Joseph Rubinstein and Jason Kim, who were chosen by AOP to spend a year creating new works focusing on the operatic voice. The performances will be held at South Oxford Space in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, home of AOP. Tickets are $15 general admission, $10 for students/seniors and are available at www.operaprojects.org.
