PARTY PEOPLE, the new show by UNIVERSES, is developed and directed by Liesl Tommy, with music by UNIVERSIS and Broken Chord, and choreography by Millicent Johnnie. Earlier today, the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields announced the sad news that beloved conductor and legend of the classical music world, Sir Neville Marriner, passed away in his sleep sometime during the early hours of October 2nd. Marriner began his career as a musician, playing the violin in various independent music groups, before joining the London Symphony Orchestra.

The influential conductor, who led orchestras and operas the world over, was perhaps best known as the Founder and Life President of theAcademy of St Martin in the Fields, and for his countless and universally admired recordings with the ensemble. "Marriner stood as an inspiration to all musicians for his magisterial contribution to our field," said Dr. Peter Simon.
