The Photography Department at Santa Fe University of Art and Design (SFUAD) has announced a joint exhibition with the City of Santa Fe Arts Commission's Community Gallery called In/Visible Borders: New Mexico Photographers. The exhibition, curated by SFUAD Photography Department chair Mary Anne Redding, opens to the public today, Monday, Sept. 9, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. with a reception at SFUAD's Atrium Gallery in the Marion Center for Photographic Arts. A complementary exhibition will open at the Community Gallery on Marcy Street Nov. 22.

This September, reggae legend Jimmy Cliff will visit several U.S. cities, performing in intimate theater and club settings on his '2013 Many Rivers Crossed Tour.' The 17-date tour begins today, September 6 at the Interlocken Music Festival in Arrington, VA and continues to other cities including New York (Webster Hall), Los Angeles (Santa Monica Pier), San Francisco (The Fillmore), Chicago (Concord Music Hall), Boston (House Of Blues), Washington, DC (The Howard Theatre), and Seattle (Neptune), before concluding in Glenside, PA (Keswick Theatre) on September 29.

Angelwalk Theatre, Toronto's premiere producer of Off-Broadway style musical theatre, launches its fifth anniversary season in 2013/2014 with a new production of Jonathan Larson's autobiographical musical, tick, tick...BOOM!

These are strange computer recordings of pre-existing Mount Eerie songs, mostly from Clear Moon and Ocean Roar (2012), made post-album-release as exploratory and instructional demos to teach the songs to various touring bands.
