Playwrights Horizons begins accepting entries today, Wednesday, March 2, for the LIVEforFIVE online lottery for $5 tickets to their world premiere of ANTLIA PNEUMATICA, a new play by Anne Washburn (Mr. Burns, a post-electric play at PH; 10 Out of 12; Iphigenia at Aulis; The Internationalist).  Commissioned by Playwrights Horizons and directed by two-time Obie Award winner Ken Rus Schmoll (Iowa at PH, The Internationalist, The Invisible Hand, Red Dog Howls, Middletown, What Once We Felt), the play is the fifth production of the theater company's 2015/2016 Season.   

Playwrights Horizons' world premiere production of ANTILA PNEUMATICA, a new play by Anne Washburn, directed by two-time Obie Award winner Ken Rus Schmoll, begins Friday, March 11 at Playwrights Horizons' Peter Jay Sharp Theater. Opening Night is set for Monday, April 4 with a limited engagement through Sunday, April 24. Following the wildly successful world premiere of The House, which rang in the 24th season, Kitchen Theatre Company is pleased to offer Steven Dietz's powerful and moving Lonely Planet. Lonely Planet tells the story of two friends, Jody and Carl, who use their wit and sense of absurdity to negotiate the turbulent world at the height of the AIDS crisis. Lonely Planet is currently in previews, with an opening night set for tomorrow, October 18. The play runs until November 2. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

Wasps will run from July 24th through July 28th at the Connelly Theater. July 24th- 26th performances are at 8pm, July 27th at 5pm and 9pm, and July 28th at 2pm. The Connelly Theater is located at 220 East 4th Street in Manhattan (between Avenues A and B). All tickets are $18 and can be purchased at www.stu42.com.

Michael Cyril Creighton's award winning online sitcom 'JACK IN A BOX' about a frustrated theatre box office manager, currently in its third season, celebrates its 2 Year Anniversary and releases the 23rd episode of the series, entitled 'The Date.' After 2 years of watching Jack be a sort of snarky, hapless sad sack, it's possible this little dough boy has found love. Or will he ruin it, just like he ruined that audition to play an Adult Baby on Law & Order: SVU? MICHAEL CYRIL CREIGHTON'S online sitcom about a down on his luck theatre Box Office Manager, 'JACK IN A BOX', premieres Episode 15: The Buzz. In this episode, Jack is bombarded with phone calls, goes to a terrible audition and then has a 'physical' altercation with his agent, Gloria (played by Lusia Strus of Enron, The NY Neo-Futurists, Gus Van Sant's Restless). There are too many women in his life. The episode also features Hannah Bos (Founding Member of The Debate Society), Desiree Burch (The NY Neo-Futurists/The Soup Show), Livia Scott ('Live & Let Livia') and Mary Testa (Xanadu, Guys and Dolls, 42nd Street, On The Town).
