The State Theatre Center for the Arts has announced the next two shows for its music series, Stage on Stage, where the bands and fans share the stage. The series continues with two shows in February featuring six bands in total. The State Theatre main stage will be transformed into a "club" atmosphere, with the band and the audience both on stage. A dramatic portrait of former First Lady Michelle Obama by artist Lennon Commissiong, a mosaic comprised of thousands of colorful paper dots, is on view in the WIZARDHANDS exhibition at Harlem's Dwyer Cultural Center, 258 St. Nicholas through August 26. “Michelle Obama comported herself with grace and dignity through one of the most racially troubled periods in recent times,” said Commissiong.
