Broadway's most daring, curious, and talented artists are preparing to gather at Cielo for the Fall 2013 BC Beat on Monday November 11th, the showcase and dance party with it's own rules for sharing work and connecting artists. This production opens Tuesday, October 25, and runs through Saturday, December 3, 2011, at DePaul's historic Merle Reskin Theatre. Performances are Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 10 AM and Saturdays at 2 PM. There will be no performances on November 11, 22, 24, 25, 26, or 29. An additional performance will be held on November 30 at 10AM.

Seattle Opera General Director Speight Jenkins today announced the names of the eight finalists and two alternates selected for the second International Wagner Competition, which will be held at McCaw Hall in Seattle on August 16, 2008. The singers-all between the ages of 25 and 39-were nominated by agents, general directors, and other established opera professionals.
