High School Musical 3:Senior Year had an impressive $15M weekend for a new total of $61.8M, holding the top spot once again at the box office. The film will be debuting a 'sing- along' version in select markets including Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, and Philadelphia on Friday, November 7.

Halloween is never a great day for the film industry, especially when it falls on a weekend. And as expected Friday's grosses were way down compared to a normal weekend reports DeadlineHollywood.com. In a shock Disney's High School Musical 3: Senior Year was down a whooping 90% from its historic opening a week ago. The film made $1.7 million Friday from 3,626 plays. But then Zac Efron, and those Wildcats staged an amazing comeback, jumping up nearly 400% to grab No. 1 with $8.2 million Saturday for a $15M weekend (including Sunday's estimate of $5.1 million) for a new total of $61.8M

The North American release of Disney's High School Musical 3 brought in even bigger numbers than originally anticipated. By Friday, the movie had already grossed 16.9 Million dollars in 3,623 theaters it was released in, bringing the anticipated total weekend numbers up to 60 million from the original 40 million.
