Photocrati is pleased to name documentary photographer Alex Masi as the 2013 Photocrati Fund Fellow for his work documenting the long-term impact of the devastating 1984 gas leak in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh (India). At the time of the accident, 4,000 deaths were confirmed. By 2006, more than 550,000 people had suffered injuries from the gas leak and subsequent soil and water contamination. Now, thousands of people, mostly poor, suffer from debilitating neurological disorders due to this environmental contamination.

Multi-Platinum superstars Toni Braxton and Kenny 'Babyface' Edwards are the latest Grammy Award-winning artists set to join the roster of 'Special Guest Star' vocalists in the new Broadway musical After Midnight. With an impressive 16 Grammy Awards between them, Braxton and Edwards will join the company following k.d. lang, Tuesday, March 18, 2014 through Sunday, March 30, 2014. “This spring is about sheer elegance; I wanted it to feel light and stripped down,” Monique Lhuillier told WWD at a preview of her collection. The runway show begain with pastel organza and metallic threads before moving into lace and vibrant jewel tones. I particularly loved the bandeau-and-ball skirt combos in silk gazar. Can't wait to see it on future red carpet events!
