According to Deadline, Mike Flanagan (OCULUS) has signed on to direct the film adaptation of Stephen King's novel GERALD'S GAME for Intrepid Pictures.

WWE Studios will leverage its extensive multi-platform reach to help promote the film that debuted at the Midnight Madness section of the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival. Oculus was developed and produced by Trevor Macy and Marc D. Evans of Intrepid Pictures, who co-financed with MICA Entertainment and is set for a wide theatrical release on April 11, 2014.
